This is the book that Shivabalayogi asked to be written in 1991 to combine his then existing
English biography, question & answer material collected mostly in the United States,
and devotees’ experiences, mostly in the U.S.

Published in India, Shivabalayogi presented Tapas Shakti to the public on the occasion of
his 59th birthday on January 24, 1992.

The Living Yogi

Out of print for many years, the story of Shivabalayogi’s mahasamadhi is now available
online without charge as an e-book.

This is the original publication published by the Bangalore Trust and presented to the public on April 2, 1995, PLUS an omitted chapter on devotees’ experiences of Shivabalayogi’s darshan through bhava samadhi since Shri Swamiji dropped his own physical form.

Yoga Vasistha Maharamayana by Valmiki

Sri Sri Sri Shivabalayogi Maharaj: Life & Spiritual Ministration

Collected and written by General (ret.) Hanut Singh, Spiritual Ministration was originally published by the Bangalore Trust on the occasion of Shivabalayogi’s 46th birthday on January 24, 1981.

It draws on previously published booklets on Shivabalayogi (see History of Books on Shivabalayogi) and General Hanut's own knowledge and conversations with Swamiji.

Laghu Guru Upanishad by Gurprasad is about the spiritual teachings of Shivabalayogi, the essence of which is that liberation is attained by making the mind silent through the practice of meditation on the self (atman dhyana), a variant of the path of Silence.
