Sri Siva Bala Yogi, Spiritual Essence and Luminescence
was
published by the Bangalore ashram probably in the late 1970’s or early 1980’s,
not long after August 7, 1977, when the main Bangalore ashram was moved to its
present site
in the J. P. Nagar area of south Bangalore.
It contains a description of the new Bangalore ashram, a short account of Shivabalayogi's tapas, the establishment of his first Bangalore ashram on Bannerghatta Road, and some of Shri Swamiji's other travels.
Spiritual Essence describes the importance of mass feeding (annadanam) to Shivabalayogi, and his work teaching meditation and evoking spiritual trance (bhava samadhi).
The booklet is illustrated with numerous photographs.
